This is a very spacious old building that used to be a pub until around four years ago. It is 4 minutes walk to the very centre of Canterbury and very close to Canterbury East station. We are in the process of totally renovating the place to make a very large student house-share with up to nine bedrooms, as well as a big kitchen, a living room, dining area and several bath/shower rooms. The rooms will all have plenty of storage and shelving as well as a TV point and internet connection.

At present the place is a total mess inside, but we are on course to have it ready for around April / May 2010. It will certainly be ready for the next student year.

Car parking & Public Transport

Parking: None onsite, use side streets nearby

Public Transport: 1 minute from "Unibus" stop for UKC, and 10 minutes walk from Christchurch and UCA (KIAD). 5 mins walk to High Street. 1 minute from Canterbury East station. Also very handy for making your way home after visiting Baa Bars / The Works / The Biz!

Price and Availability

We are in the process of totally renovating the "Round House" a former public house located at 1, Wincheap, Canterbury, right next to Canterbury East railway station.

We hope to have the main building ready for around May 2010 and estimate that we will be renting the fully furnished study bedrooms for around £370 per month per room INCLUDING gas and electricity bills and broadband internet
