General Information

We have a selection of houses for rent to students in Canterbury. We have student houses for rent in Canterbury ranging from 4 to 10 bedrooms. All of our properties for rent are within walking distance of the centre of Canterbury, and are close to the University of Kent campus, Christchurch College, University of the Creative Arts (UCA) formerly Kent Institute of Art and Design (KIAD) and Canterbury College.

All of our student accommodation in Canterbury has all the legal requirements and safety certificates for renting to students.

This is a refurbished old cottage-style house located on Wincheap, within 5 minutes walk of Canterbury East station and 10 minutes to Canterbury city centre. It has gas central heating, a large kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a second toilet downstairs, a living/dining room and four bedrooms (one downstairs, one first floor, two second floor). There is also a large cellar for storage. This house is newly furnished with leather sofas and wood floors in most rooms. It is conveniently located next to the Sportsman Cafe, probably the best cheap eating place in town!

Car parking & Public Transport

Parking: Down side streets off Wincheap, not that easy

Public Transport: Short walk into town centre/bus station, Unibus 7 mins walk (Canterbury East)

Distances

Please note that these distances are approximate, and are also by car. Distances on foot in a lot of cases will be considerably shorter, because of footpath shortcuts, and because it is possible to walk through the middle of Canterbury (the pedestrianised bit) but by car you have to go around the ring road. For the record, people typically walk at about 4 miles per hour.

Price and Availability

It is available for rent from July 2010 for the student year until July 2011 for a rent of £1300 per month, which works out to just less than £75 per person per week.
